Beatles Tribute Band: Big on Eyewash
The crowd attending the night was kind of 'frozen'. Not very active, they didn't clap in unison, stand, or dance, as people normally do at a concert. I noticed only a small patch of people dancing near me on the far right front corner. There were very few of the 'smells' I usually get at a concert. I decided to skip the long after-concert lines and buy a couple of T-shirts or concert items, only to find no one manning the T-Shirt Booth. When I finally got access to the booth, they didn't have much of a selection of 'stuff' - just a hat and a couple of different shirt logos, nothing high end. The band's management is the biggest problem I had, and my only real critique of the band. They need time for 'costume change' between genres of Beatles music when they change their outfits, and the long 'intermission' felt like punishment. I came for an experience, not a bunch of wait time. They should hire smaller numbers and 'filler acts' to provide continuity of entertainment. No one wants to wait for entertainment to 'turn on again'. There are plenty of other 'tribute' players out there, so they should hire some '60s performers to fill up the time space that gets created when Cirque Eloize needs to change costumes. Highly recommend attending, it was lotsa fun. Oh, almost forgot, their 'liquor vendor' sucks: you cannot buy a margarita there. If you too partake of the margarita, you won't be able to buy any from the liquor vendor at this venue.
